Just heard of this company, but I think I tinkered enough with the electronics in this car, especially after seeing the video posted lol

And this is why I am sticking with the OEM CS/GTS software for DCT....

Same here. Flashed the pre-release version and made some runs, then flashed the new OTS v1.2. No issues at all (and I drove the hell out of it trying to see how it holds up).

I also downgraded from stage3 v1.0 to stage2 v1.2 because stage3 v1.2 is way too aggresive on d1.

Any more input on their latest V1.2? Im currently on V1.0 and luckily read about the horror stories before jumping on to V1.1. Pretty concerning to say that least that XHP released software with serious bugs to their customers. Like the above I think I will hold off V1.2 until more people are running it and have tested it.

Update.
I went from 1.0 to the bad 1.1 (less than a day) back to 1.0 since it was trouble free.
Just updated to the latest 1.2. Put it though it's paces for about an hour. So far so good. I'm glad enough people shared their opinions for xHP to take swift action to remedy the situation. If anything else should arise, I'll keep y'all posted

v1.2 feels far more refined than v1 based on a limited 20-mile test drive. This is with Dodson Sportsman's Plus clutch pack.

Well yesterday I experienced an issue with 1.1 and went back to 1.0 while the jury is out on 1.2. I was accelerating spiritedly and in second gear there was a bang and it felt like I slammed on the brakes. I immediately let of and shifted to third. No codes but loss power and like can't accelerate loss of power. Flashed back to 1.0 and will not be such an early adopter of new software.

What's the benefit of flashing V1.2 if I have no issues with V1.0?

1.2 has been good for me so far; never tried 1.1 but had 1.0 since day 1.

You mean you got the bang on V1.2?

Also curious about this. Why flash v1.1 when it's clearly documented to have bad results and v1.2 with the resolution has already been released?

I'm on v1.2 and have put in around 150 or so miles. Love it so far, feels much smoother than v1.0.

No I had flashed 1.1 when it first came out before people started reporting the bang. I had put 400ish miles on the 1.1 before it happened to me. With that I went back to what I knew was good and adopted the wait and see for 1.2 software.

I went to 1.1 the day it was released so it was not reported. 1.2 came out at the same time the bang happened so I learned my lesson and will let software versions be out for a while before adopting.

Good info!

Yep, that's the one to use.

I've been my own guinea pig and put around 200 miles on V1.2. Happy to report its rock solid. Admittedly not a huge improvement over V1.0 but I had no issues with original XHP software anyway. Awesome

Unfortunately the XHP thread in the M2 forums is kinda dead… I flashed 1.2 the other day when I put on BM3 on my non-comp M2 and this morning I got a loud thud going from 2-3rd, not sure if it was gearbox or diff. Something seems to be holding back torque a tad after the gear change in 2-3rd again, I'm going to try remove XHP and see if its still doing it.

v1.2 -- experienced a sudden jolt while briefly driving in D2 Efficient mode after lightly accelerating from a slow rolling stop. Still no issues while driving in M mode, however.

Following this put around 600 miles on V1.2 since this post and unfortunately have to report that I experienced what seemed like DCT clutch slip today when accelerating uphill in 2nd gear. I am running very low power just MHD GTS which is low on torque so to me that rules out a hardware issue, together with the fact I experienced zero issues with my trans in over 50k miles until 600 miles after flashing V1.2

Seriously unimpressed at this point with XHP. First release of a literally broken V1.1 and now more users including myself coming up with pretty serious issues with V1.2.

Sadly I think my solution will be going back to Thor GTS and requesting a refund from XHP.
