Ok cool got it!

So If I get the Bend Calibration kit and get it installed, which OTS map can I use for the flex fuel capabilities?

These two OTS maps (blue in pic) are Flex enabled, and you can also buy custom tunes made with Flex capability.

I’m hoping someone can help answer this question before I purchase the bend calibration FF kit. I’m located in CA with close access to E85.

Will flashing stage 2 customrom will allow for full E85 power regardless of what map slot (1-4) you are running? Let’s say I’m on map 1 ACN91 and I pull into a E85 station and fill up with E85 when I’m close to running on empty.

If I leave the setting on map 1, will the DME go to a flex fuel default setting where you can make full E85 power (530-550 whp-ish) or does the DME just adapt my E85 content to maximize power on the ACN91 map (460-480 whp-ish)?

Yes it will make any of the 4 slots flex since you will have a sensor, but I doubt the OTS tune makes 550...it’s only 23lbs even on slot3 with e70. I ran the OTS flex rom tunes for for a while then ended up getting a F80paul custom flex rom tune with 2 slots and it will hit 25-26lbs, but I haven’t dynoed it yet

Thank you! Just ordered the Bend Calibration Ultimate kit

I'm pretty happy with the OTS E30 map in terms of power. It's plenty fast for me, but I just want the convenience of filling up and going back between ACN91 and E85. Might as well since I just did an upgraded crank hub + VTT CBC.

Thanks for your help!!

Anytime 😊 I have the bend kit and I got it the week all the flex rom tunes and came out it's been great. It's nice being able to run what ever % of ethanol you want. Also you can see the % on the tach with a push of a button

It should adapt to the E85 mix regardless of map, just dont put it on stock i believe.

Reading through the thread now to see if this has been answered. But does rolling anti-lag work when the DCT is in manual AND auto mode. Or does it only work in auto mode?

I have a m2 and couldn't get antilag to work. Am wondering if it's because I was in manual mode.

Hey!

Like all of the other maps, the MultiMap maps have a "Config" button in the top right corner as well.
In this case ("Boost"), the configuration is applied to all 4 of the (sub-) maps within it at once. You
cannot configure these (sub-) maps individually.

Did you get the BM3 ultimate kit or just the ultimate?
Thinking about just doing VTT CBC with stock CH

I ordered the BM3 Ultimate Kit

You might want wait until you get a full crank hub before you run E85… I wouldn't trust having just the CBC honestly.

PTF says 0.023" in their FAQ. Spark gap is related more to boost pressure than E%.

https://www.bendcalibration.com/shop

You can order a display from Zeitronix or you can view your ethanol content directly in Bootmod3. I opted out of the display since you don't really need to see your E content all of the time, just after filling up.

Saw that in the FAQ. Should have been more detailed with my question...my current gap is .018 per my previous tuner (was running a 93 octane custom Stage 2 tune before switching to Flex Fuel). New plugs have been in about a year or 7k miles. Running E50 or so for the most part these days. Worth changing ASAP or is my normal plug interval ok?

You should have plenty of life in those plugs still. You don't need to replace plugs until you see timing corrections that weren't previously there. I say change between 10-15k miles depending on how hard you drive.

I agree with hellokitty on 10-15K mile intervals.
