G80 paddle shifters

Hey folks,
Is anyone taking on trying to fit the G80 CF paddles in the F series?
These look awesome and I'm hoping it can be done. They almost look the same.
Honestly not sure about the 600$ price tag, but I know the quality will be there...

on a second look though it seems like the back plate may not fit into the steering wheel.

The back plate shouldn't be an issue though. It's the front plates on the shifter I am more so looking into. Really want these and hope they can be retrofitted.

the paddles are one piece with the back plate by looking at it, so i kinda doubt will fit.

I fit the ones from eBay. They were like 100.00 bucks. While they look a little cheap they are perfectly positioned and never bind,

They fit. I went with the cheap magnetic alternative and it’s been perfect.

I installed the 100 dollar knock offs a couple years ago. They feel great and move the shifters closer to the wheel. The carbon is just glued on the plastic and I had to re-glue the edges down about a year in. Honestly, the oem ones are just basically the same manufacturer without the quality control.

I had the OEM G80 paddle shifters installed and they fit perfect! They feel much better since they have these raised-dots on the back side and they are twice the size from the F80 shifters
