I am going to try to join you guys for this one, looks like it would make for a nice day on the roads.
I do have a large renovation going on all around my property over the next 5-8 weeks, so obligations for that may find me excluded, but I am in as of now.

Those who have indicated that they will be attending the Sunrise Drive on 6/12...the vendor has asked that we "close" any further sign ups as it appears they will be at capacity for parking based on the amount of responses we have received. There may be some limited street parking available if their facility overflows. If you plan on just joining for just for the drive, there is no issue adding more cars, but for the cars and coffee afterwards we are reaching capacity. If you have already signed up, we should be able to get you parked. Thank you for your understanding!

I will be starting a thread for the NJ Costco crew from last year later this week, for whoever wants to head down from here together.

Chester County attendees-
4:45AM roll-by and pickup at: Legal Seafood (top parking deck) King of Prussia Mall No hang or chat. Just roll through to pick up any other cars at 4:45AM sharp, and we head right to the meetup starting point together (ETA 5:40AM). Please PM me directly so I don't clog Slow's thread or confuse anyone else.

As a reminder, with the weather somewhat of an unknown for this Saturday, if the rain date needs to be used...I will post that no later than Friday evening. So make sure to check back with this thread if the weather forecast is iffy on Saturday. Thanks!

**We look good to go!**
Based on the 24 and 48 hour weather forecast, Saturday looks like it will be the better morning of the two weekend days so we are on for our original planned date! As with all forecasts, they are never perfect...so fingers crossed it holds out. A few last minute items and reminders: Please check out the Google maps link that was posted to this thread. It has the complete route and turn by turn directions. This will be a large group of cars and I expect separation to occur at times, so having the route is imperative. I will have a few printed copies available, but unless you have a passenger its hard to read written directions while concentrating on driving. So please consider using the Google maps directions with your smart phones or Nav systems. Unfortunately there are no 24 hour gas stations near our meeting point and once we set out...we are not stopping as a group to get fuel, so make sure you have at least enough fuel for at least a 75 mile trip. There is a Lukoil station about 5 mins from our meeting point that opens at 6am if you need to top off, but we are leaving at 6:20am SHARP. Last point...and it goes without saying...this is a fun cruise, not a race event. It's going to be a large group of cars so make sure to leave a few car lengths between you and the car in front of you for safety purposes. While we may not have to contend with much vehicle traffic at that time of the morning, there are bicyclists, joggers, and DEER out then (yes thats why it's called Bucks County lol). We don't want to ruin a great morning with a traffic related incident. Just have fun and take pics and videos if you can. See you tomorrow! |

Late addition
My wife got home on an early flight today rather than tomorrow so we plan to do the sunrise drive but will opt out on the cars and coffee(understand its at capacity already). We'll also have our furry back seat driver and supreme ruler with us. Look forward to meeting everyone tomorrow. Gregg
