Here is Albert Biermann presentation on the F8X:

Its a old video but im sure many new F8X owners have not seen it.

The F8X was the last project Albert Biermann did before moving to Hyundai!

Enjoy him highlighting why the F8X is so damn amazing!

I'm sure the G8X would have been a lot better with him still in charge of M division!

Me too! This and another video highlighting the differences between the M and non M chassis making it clear how much more an M car ( F80 especially ) is beyond "more engine and better brakes"

Yes, him going "Throw out the back seats and put on some nice cup 2's and you basically have a GTS" was such a cool line and just proves how much effort went into making it the ultimate driving machine.

Every time he talk about it, he's more in the "make it a damn good race car, then add some comfort for daily driving" and it's been a great success!
He even goes as to far to say the basic versions got too much standard equipment so it weights more than he wants it to be.

Hyundai and Beirmann are doing better things than the BMW M division right now... they are actually focused on the fun and excitement of driving rather than just chasing lap times.

Veloster N gets a DCT... BMW M3 gets an automatic. lol

If you look beneath its surface, the g8x is really an incremental evolution of Biermann's F8X from chassis bracing, sub-frame design, suspension work powered by the same I6 FI fundamentals. I'm surprised he hasn't N-ified the Stinger yet. Seems like the perfect opportunity to blow up the status quo.
