Tire splitting at rim

Looking for advice on a split tire. Do I need to replace it?
I am in LA area. Car is not a daily. Looking for advice on tires for SoCal. Tire shops?
Probably going to keep the oem rims for now. I like to hit up the 2 & 33. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

Update

Contacted Dealer as tire shop advised me that this is a warranty issue.
Let's see what happens next. Guess I'm driving the Honda.

That's pretty crazy. I don't know how good continental tire service is, but hopefully that's covered under "manufacture defect".

Dealer replaced tire no charge. No hassle trouble free service and checked all tires for issues.
M town was at dealership while I was waiting for the car so I got to drive every M. So fun.
Very thankful. Put the Honda back in the garage.

not sure why you would even question replacing a tire that is split/coming apart. ...

I don't want to talk down an entire brand but I've had nothing but horrible experience with them.
