Who has KW HAS springs with adaptive suspension?
Im looking into the KW Height Adjustable Springs springs and i cant find much on ride quality with
the adaptive suspension. My questions are: Do they negatively affect the lifespan of the shocks like typical lowering springs do on an average car? Do they ride harsher even if you drop the car at the minimal settings? And how does the car react having adaptive suspension, does it work like it should? |

Yes, yes and yes to your questions.
At least from my research it is the case. |

I had the KW HAS on my car for the last 70,000 odd kms. I never had the car really low with the kit installed but I reckon that I can feel the shocks are weaker now (could be just through age and kms). Removed the kit a couple of days ago, no sign of any leaks or excessive wear on the shocks visually. Installed Eibach springs and for me the ride is considerably better while only being about 5-10mm higher that what I had the KW's set.
