Just bought a GTS
Hey Guys... I have been looking for a while, but with the prices where these GTS' are at I feel its time to buy. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm right? I was considering a GT3, but for the extra $40k in my pocket and a virtually new car I am super happy. Just picked up a Sapphire Black and has less than 70 miles on the clock. Has anyone set up a registry? I should be getting the car in the next few days and am super excited.

Welcome to the club. You won't be disappointed ( unless you read some of the car magazines from a couple yrs ago......)

Welcome to the club. I have had mine for close to two years now and it sure delivers in terms of raw experience and sensations. I was coming from an f80. Night and day...
Do not focus on some of the bad reviews mentioned above. The car was not properly set up for those... A lot of rave reviews over the last two years. You will be getting a lot of thumbs up on the road! I can guarantee that. Enjoy!! |

Gratz on the GTS!!!
Interestingly enough.... im looking into getting a 991.2 GT3 or Turbo S. Tired of the M4. And coming from an M4 I cant see myself trading up to another M4 even if its a GTS. Just curious.... If money wasn’t an issue or determining factor, would you have taken the GT3 instead over the M4 GTS??

Hello Everyone... thanks for all the comments! I have had several m3s going back to 2002. When these came out I tried to get one from Braman in South FL with no luck and from what I remember they were asking over MSRP. Then fast forward to today. I ended up buying mine from Fields BMW in Winter Park, FL. It is like new with about 64 miles. I uncovered today that it may be the last M4 GTS ever built. Can anyone help me confirm this information? I was trying to find out how many Black Saphire GTS' were built and put in the vin in google and then came across a thread talking about the last Saphire Black GTS being built on Nov. 28, 2016 and shipping to the US. It said the last 7 of the VIN and they are from my car. Can anyone confirm this is true??? This would be a sweet bonus for me to find out as I love the M brand and have always admired the CSL and these GTS'. My VIN ends in K579111. Thanks again!

Congrats! I do think it's a great time to buy. I'd take a GTS all day over the CS and prices are getting eerily close (comparing used GTS to new CS).

Let's assume for a second they were priced the same: Assuming all things equal...brand new cars or CPO same amount of milage etc...Would you take a GT3 at $100k over a M4 GTS at $100k? Probably. Would you ever take a M4 GTS at $150k over a GT3 at $150k? Probably not.
