Definitely needs some wider wheels to compliment that ass...

I really like how it looks!

This thing will not be cheap. I wonder if they'll actually offer full Indiv. interiors or just Extended. The E90 could probably have stayed under 70k with individual paint, "standard" individual leather (champagne, platinum, cohiba, etc.) and ZCP, but I expect this to be 75k-80k with limited goodies. Even up to 100k with cfrp seats and Carbon Ceramic brakes.

I won't be getting the CCBs for sure, those are way too expensive and I doubt I'll need them.
Your pricing estimates are too high. Full leather inc dash is only $3,500 and that's for the M5.

I guess I remembered wrong then. In that case, excellent!

Indiv. paint (3000) + Indiv. leather (3000) + dash (3500) + F80 (63k?) + ZCP/cold weather (4000) = 71.5k....not bad, not bad, I guess I can keep it around 72k if the HUD displays RPM.

I certainly hope Nav is standard (or n/c option) on a 60k car...and the choice between DCT and 6MT. Wonder if DCT's going to be 3000 again?

Comparison of the side view;

Must say the M4 has a better flow IMHO

See also that the side line from front through the handle bars till rear end has a different ending;

M3 it ends at the tip of the backlight
M4 it ends above the tip of the backlight

M4 looks better. They fender flares are just as wide but on the M4 the whole panel is flared out giving it the appearance that the M3 is wider because of the abrupt change into flares. On the M3...I don't like how the back door transitions into the flare. Looms kind of weird only having that little area flared like that.

I just realized. In the last picture the F80 looks like it has the side vents from the F32/82

That's not correct... the M5 Full Merino leather is $3500, just because the M5 has Extended Leather standard and the $3500 does not include the leather dash. The $5000 Individual Full Leather also does not include the leather dash.

Leather dash is about an extra $1000 over those prices.

In the E9x M3 the Extended Leather was $1100, Individual Extended leather was $4300, and the Individual Full leather was $10,225. No OEM Leather dash was offered in the E9x M3.

The F8x M3/M4 Extended leather prices should be around those prices. It is unknown if Leather dash will be offered.

Over history there just aren't many beautiful sedans in general and even fewer outside the large cars. It's just not a shape that lends itself to beauty unless you compromise the rear headroom and visibility and make a "4-door coupe". IMO the F10 is quite attractive but again it's a very large car. One of my favourites is the E60 M5, not a classic beauty but I love that thing. It's so edgy,menacing and muscular. Anyone who can point to a good looking small sedan?

I wonder if they are going to screw every buyer with incandescent bulbs in the brake lights and turn signals? I still can't get over how much of a F-U that is from BMW for the F series. F-U as in "we know you're gonna buy our cars but we're going to cheap out on the lights because..well who the heck doesn't buy a car based on light bulbs hahaha suckers".

This guy that's who.

These are all very attractive sports sedans. The E36 M3 was especially handsome and has aged very, very well.
Agree on the E36, don't know why i didn't think of it, I had two. It's a very nice looking sedan.

this puts it into perspective. the M4 has a sleeker roof line, more aggressive accent line (that slims as it goes down the car and angles up), and a sharper tail.

(not to say the M3 is not nice, just the coupe wins in aesthetics)

No doubt the M4 has a much nicer side profile, the 4 series GC will likely share the rear lights and sleeker character line.

Compare this to the C63 AMG which is still just leaps and bounds better looking than the E90/F80.

The same problem is cursing the F10 M5 although we at least have the M6 Grand Coupe which is CLEARLY miles better looking than the M5.

I can't put my finger on what it is about these designs that are so bad, it is something to do with the roofline I think. The way they have these huge ugly black b-pillars just looks so Hyundaish, so pedestrian. They could really learn a lot from Audi and Mercedes in this regard.
Wow...didn't notice it before but you're right. The pillar area is about 1/4 the size of the window...its ugly as crap. Anyway...I've always been on the stance that if I wanted a 4 door it would be a C63 over the m3. This also applies to e9x...

Amen! I just took a long hard look at the new M4 coupe and I just don't like the looks of that sucker at all. It might be that funky color, but I like the look of the current M3 a whole lot more. Also, the '14 M3 Sedan looks hot. Does anyone know what engines the new M's are getting?
