Consumer Reports: iDrive is Good, CarPlay lowers satisfaction
I just read an article from Consumer Reports based on a recent survey. The conclusion is that driver satisfaction with BMW iDrive is in their "most satisfied" category. When coupled with Apple CarPlay driver satisfaction is reduced. The primary cause listed was the spotty wifi connection between the car and the phone. Sharing in case folks are interested.
