AP 9660 bbk PFC pads
I'm having some trouble finding places that sell PFC pads for the AP racing 9660 bbk caliper.
PFC pads use 7790 shape on the 9660. I have found just a handful of places that sell any pad for it. Most being international and/or unknown to me. There has to be some store that sells all the compounds available? All I've seen so far are 01 and 333. I have tried reverse googling to find something and cant find much. (7790.333.18.44 <-- 333 compound SKU) I tried emailing PFC 2 weeks ago and have literally received no response Wasn't really in love with the ferodo 1.11. Would rather not be forced into getting them because of access. Can anyone recommend a place for 9660 pfc pads?

PFC is pretty terrible at responding to emails.
The PN you're looking for 7790.333.18.44 (pad shape.compound.thickness.kit) shows up at a few shops online when I googled it. I think any of their dealers can order this from them, even if they don't have it listed. I'd try calling a dealer of theirs to ask about and order if you don't find a listing for it you like. Trying to find PFC pads for the rear AP 9449/9451 brakes is even worse!

While I don't have a BBK and so don't have firsthand experience, Rick Hinz at Hinz Motorsports was very responsive in past as I was looking for pads for standard setup. Might be worth an email to him, rick at hinzmotorsport.com

Yeah, pad life is my main issue. Feel is second.
I emailed bimmerworld and they did have 11 compound ready to ship. I asked about other compounds and waiting to hear back.

Yeah...you're not going to find one vendor that has all the options. You will have to research a brand or pad you like and search multiple vendors.
I like PFC pads the best. They dont require any crazy pad bedding unlike Hawk race pads. Some of my favs: https://www.zeckhausen.com/catalog/i...Path=7398_7400 http://www.raceshopper.com/ https://www.porterfield-brakes.com/c...ke%20Pads.html

I really like the DS3.12 brake pads on my M2 with AP brakes.
On the street they are quietish and bite like mad dog. I find them very consistent with a long life on the track.

don't settle for Ferodo, when i saw the CoF tables I laughed.. they are not even in the same league as PFC.
When I used their DS1.11 at the track I couldn't believe how pathetic the performance was, it's like a glorified sport pad that's ridiculously noisy. Hard to believe Essex promotes them the way they do and they're very pricy. For PFC you can use 01 (its as good at the newer 11), the e9x community swore by them (back in the day). 333 is very aggressive torque and sensitive pedal pressure. Steve |

PFC pads are very, very nice. I've been spoiled.
If BW has the 11 you are saved. Fantastic goldilocks pad. |

Just in case anyone else goes through this. Im picking up a set of 333 from bimmerworld.
They carry 05 and 333 for 9660. They did sell 11 compound up until recently but are no longer.

I'll let you in on a secret about PFC. They are going through some stuff now. If you need anything ask for John Aldridge if a nasally girl answers the phone. DO NOT DEAL with her. Owners daughter and a complete idiot, she's doing all she can to speak with an IQ of 12. Tell him Philip sent you then ask for a reseller of the pads, calipers, or rotors you need. They may not have what you are looking for at the moment. Shit has changed over there so much I am surprised they are still in business. Their 08 and 11 compound pads are the shit...for reals. GL

You have my sentiments backwards. 01 was great back 20 years ago. The competitors have caught up. 08/11 are still great. Everyone wants their compound for all around Mu/life. It is the only compound in the industry without copper content, only. Braking styles are different, Ferodo does it for you.

My only real qualm with PFC has been the questionable packaging and conditions the pads arrive in. I don't think I ever got a set of 11s or 08s that didn't have broken edges or surface damage.
