Not an issue at all, it's easy to have the original muffler reinstalled later any any exhaust/muffler or tuning shop.

Welded should be fine when the lease is up, even the M-Performance Exhaust is cut & clamped on.

No, BMW sends an entire exhaust.
My old dealership has a shop full of whole systems to back that up. You would likely even be ok clamping it back on. |

Thanks.
I am only going off what I see and what I've been told. I see entire systems not borken down laid up. I'll ask you replacing the whole thing, they'll say yes. The exhausts can be there weeks at a time. Some I've seen there for months. I never said any exhaust was a complete system, I only said I observed a large number of systems completely assembled laid up in the shop together. So you are still most likely correct, as someone who goes through the effort of proving so usually is. |

I was there for not quite 4 years, sales. But I hung around the shop when I was bored and when I was having my personal vehicles worked on. I still shoot by from time to time to catch up and to have some of my other cars serviced. I still see entire systems laying around. But again, you are likely correct for this matter. Can you show us more exhaust system part diagrams? Since you are on a roll and all.

Cut it, then clamp it black on when the lease is up.
When I had the MPE installed on my 335is, the dealer CUT the pipes and clamped the PE on.
