I just traded my 2017 m2 in for an 18zpc. No regrets. I prefer the m3 in literally all aspects. That being said, the m2 was a fun car, but the n55 needs a tune and sport cat to feel quick.

An M3 with the Ultimate Package in Canada is essentially a fully loaded car with all options included except for the carbon ceramic brakes. The MSRP would run around CDN$100K.
The M2 is a lower level car, for example, heads up display and leather dash that you get with the Ultimate Pkg are not offered in the 2'er. If you can get this for a good discount, I'd take it over the M2 any day. |

There is a charge for all those items, but they don’t sell the package without them. The carbon ceramics were not included in either of the two 2017 cars they have, or the 2018.

Not true. The cars you saw had these items because the dealer ordered them that way. I saw an ultimate package with the Aluminum trim at my dealer and there is a forum member here that was pissed because he did not have the speed limit info option on his ultimate pack (he did not realize he had to order it separately).
