No regrets... I love Silverstone on this car, it’s a dynamic color. No body lines hidden. In a sea of other boring silver cars on the road, there’s nothing like it.

Definitely the best color on the F80 and easiest to keep clean. Wish they did not discontinue it when I was shopping for my F80

Yup, hop on youtube and search car wrap...you will see how they do it and what it does. A good one will last years and will still be easy to remove. Protects the paint and when you get tired, you can peal it off!

As for color regrets on my M, nope!! I hunted for this car for months before I found what I wanted. YMB, Sandstone interior and all the packages...Owned it 1.5 weeks as of today and still break neck to see it. That is an achievement considering what it replaced. As my wife put it "all the other colors just make it look like any other bmw."

Lots of packages in the mail though, can't wait to get started on the build.

110%! I have black metallic and although its been machine polished and ceramic coated from new, every time I wash it I find a different chip somewhere on the car!

The paint seems very thin as the chip is always down to the bones

On the topic, I don't regret getting BSM. I wanted to fly under the radar -- especially with the black comp pack badges. My neighbor recently got rid of his boat (m6) and picked up a f80 zcp in mineral white metallic. And now I've been constantly wondering what if I ordered mine in that color instead. Looks great, especially at night.

I love the way MW looks at night, or in some parking garage lighting. It almost has a silver hue to it. I'm happy I was able to find mine in MW instead of the AW I had before. I like AW but this just has a little more character

No regrets at all in getting Lime Rock Grey, especially since we got it at no cost in Canada.

I also loved Silverstone on my previous M4. Looks unique and dynamic while being super easy to maintain.

LRG is one of my favorite colors they made. I love how dynamic of a color it is....depending on the lighting it can look light gray, dark gray, green, or blue. Shows all of the body lines really well too

Funny, I've been contemplating BSM for a future choice since I currently drive a MW ZCP Anyways, it's a great color and really hits it's mark after dusk, plus EASY to maintain.

I have Yas Marina blue. And while I absolutely love it, sometimes I wish it was less loud and obtrusive. It really tends to stick out in parking lots or other areas. I fear I'll get some unwanted attention at times. But then again, it could be Austin Yellow which is the most attention-grabbing one. I'd say YMB comes in a close second for that category.

Went individual, paid for the privilege, and thrilled to pieces even 4 years and 5+ months later.

I always wanted the YMB, but when it came down to pulling the trigger I always hesitated. Ended up with BSM for the M4, which I thought was the perfect stealth badass until I switched the the MG M3. I think Mineral Grey will age really well.

I am just not crazy about any of the new incoming colors for the upcoming M3/M4. Needless to say that big goofy 7 series looking grill.

Dakar Yellow II with black 666 wheels.
May have been mistaken for a cab couple of times, but I love it.
Black and yellow, black and yellow....

MW looks jaw dropping under the correct lighting. the reflections it creates is second to none.

however on a very sunny day; or when the sun is going down, it can get pastey

I love the YMB and wanted one since they came out.

But I found a great AW with the right options so I pulled the trigger. Alpine is a classic and looks so good with CF bits. Love it and no regrets.

I have AW. I sometimes wish I had a more "exciting" color until I see AW's lightly modded and take on a whole new personality.

I also love the fact that I have the Sakhir seats. It adds a lil flair.

I regret choosing the 475 Black Sapphire! If I look at this paint wrong it scratches. Impossible to touch it with anything. Ever. It gets inexplicably dirty within a few blocks of dry road city driving. I think the metal flecks are magnetic and attract dust.

I have found the Blacklight foam cannon wash from Chemical Guys works very well to remove the majority of the crap that collects on the car. Planning to clay bar and buff over winter. Hopefully a good coat of paint sealant will help the CG foam to keep it in better shape next year.

Sakhir Orange and not one regret. Had her ceramic coated recently which makes the paint pop even more.
