F80 ZCP Winter Wheel Setup - Apex vs Enkei Recommendation

I'm about to hit my first winter with my 2017 M3 ZCP. I live in the Northeast outside of Philly, so not terrible weather, but the occasional storm my roll through and I will need the car. I don't want to put winters on my 666m wheels, so looking for alternative options. Right now I have it narrowed to Enkei or Apex wheels. Quite honestly, I don't have the budget to spend whatever so I'm trying to keep it as reasonably cheap as possible, without sacrificing quality. The Apex's are about $400 more for the set than the Enkeis. I have never owned a set of after market wheels, so just curious if 1) Is one brand better than the other and 2) When I go to sell, would it be better to have Apex's even if I have to pay more up front now? If I won't ever see it back, I'd rather go cheapest because both have styles I like and its for 3-4 months of the year.

Thanks!

My winter setup is on Apex wheels and they've been fantastic. Can't comment on the Enkeis.

Apex. very popular with BMWs and easy to sell them. I have arc 8 on my 330 with Dunlop 3D and it goes thru snow without issues and braking on ice is excellent. Enkeis have/had reputation as weak wheels prone to bending and cracking. Not sure if they improved.

Thanks for the responses. I was looking at 19's since I currently have 20s and I don't get *that* much snow. But sounds like APEXs are the way to go.

Used 437s with Blizzaks…best deal for your need.

Between Enkei and Apex it's Apex all day long, but use them for race… I'm selling a drag set near Philly.
