Short Answer: 'As is' - $5,000 (set) or 'Repaired' - $6,725 (set).
Short Explanation: Passenger seat has a 3/8" slit. Driver seat perfect. I have plenty of pix's that show all parts/angles of each seat. Other than the one 3/8" slit, there are no other marks, scars, etc. I've been having trouble finding someone that will repair a $7,000 seat; worried about screwing something up. Insurance company paid for my new set of GTS Euro Seats from iND for $13,450 + tax + shipping. |

Since these are Recaro Pole Position Carbons, does anyone know of a GREAT upholstery shop that can over them in Sakir Orange to match my interior? That would fit my build much better than the stock GTS euro seats.

Hi all - apologies for reviving an old thread here.
Has anyone here been able to successfully source a set of Recaro Pole Position (ABE version) to the U.S. or know a reputable vendor that can? I know plenty of shops that have the FIA versions, but hard to find known shops that have the alternative ABE versions. I've been trying to do some research, and it seems that pricing is inconsistent across the board on the ABE's and hard to know what is reputable and what isn't. I did find a shop in Germany that seems to have the seats at a fairly good price (including shipping) - they have a fairly large ebay site/operation as well. I'll be running this inside my M2C and intent is to keep the car dual-duty for both track and street. I like the idea of being able to use the factory 3-point harness along with an aftermarket Schroth 6-point harness at the track. Would also like to run these seats on either 1) sliders or 2) keep memory seat functionality if possible. |

I remember someone saying something about "tainkik", but I can't seem to find that shop anywhere on eBay or the internet.
Only one I've found is a shop that goes by "Maar". They're quite responsive via email. Looks like Evasive only carries the carbon model for the ABE's. But I can reach out to them and ask if they offer other models. |
