Unplugging Exhaust flap

Pulled my fuses and park assist dosnt work now

Yes it does affect park assist.

Anything else but park assist? I am afraid this will mess with the other sport/sport plus options on like the steering wheel and suspension settings for adaptive? Or have nothing to do with eachother?

If you put the fuses back in should fix them regardless?

Agreed, pop them back in. Easy fix is just run sport+ when you feel you need to be louder.

Just saw this thread...yeah same here. I don't use park assist really but the message was annoying.

I mean if anything, drive with it warning you for a few miles, see if you like it. If you do, do the other way of non-fuse where you take the clips off from exhaust.

- I do have rear camera and front sensors, i saw some said pulling these fuses affect those??

Does the mod affect MPG at all? I mean, i only get 19 in traffic as it is!

I do the fuse method once and a while just to see how it sounds again, but I think Valve Controller is definitely the way to go.

19 mpg is pretty solid I must say...and no effect on mpg, it's just sound.

Ok I finally got it done!

I brought it in to install my BMS Phase 1 and they did my exhaust flaps for free. They zip tied it and covered them in plastic just to be safe too

I went to these guys in Rochester NY if anyone is in the area I recommend them

I decided to have a go with disconnecting the exhaust valves module. It worked perfectly until I realised I started having limited power ( car wouldn’t use more than 180 hp ) . When I plugged them back in it was back to normal. I tried doing the exhaust flap option with bimmerlink and same thing happened again. When it was set back to normal I got all the power back again. This is really weird and I haven’t seen anyone with this problem before. Anyone have any ideas why this might be happening?
