Do you know if pulling these fuses effects any other functions for the car? I think someone else posted it effected Park Assist but I don't have that option so I cannot verify that one.
Yes it does affect park assist.

Anything else but park assist? I am afraid this will mess with the other sport/sport plus options on like the steering wheel and suspension settings for adaptive? Or have nothing to do with eachother?

If you put the fuses back in should fix them regardless?

Agreed, pop them back in. Easy fix is just run sport+ when you feel you need to be louder.

Just saw this thread...yeah same here. I don't use park assist really but the message was annoying.

I mean if anything, drive with it warning you for a few miles, see if you like it. If you do, do the other way of non-fuse where you take the clips off from exhaust.

Pulling the fuses is free, it takes seconds to do, and seconds to reverse.
in case those fuses are used for other electronics within the car. ex: park assist

For those unplugging Fuse F146 and F147, check the wiring diagrams I posted for someone who asked about the fuses location... The other fuse is used for DC/DC converter. http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...48&postcount=9

I do the fuse method once and a while just to see how it sounds again, but I think Valve Controller is definitely the way to go.

19 mpg is pretty solid I must say...and no effect on mpg, it's just sound.

Ok I finally got it done!

I brought it in to install my BMS Phase 1 and they did my exhaust flaps for free. They zip tied it and covered them in plastic just to be safe too

I went to these guys in Rochester NY if anyone is in the area I recommend them

Question Limited Power with Exhaust Flaps on.

I decided to have a go with disconnecting the exhaust valves module. It worked perfectly until I realised I started having limited power ( car wouldn’t use more than 180 hp ) . When I plugged them back in it was back to normal. I tried doing the exhaust flap option with bimmerlink and same thing happened again. When it was set back to normal I got all the power back again. This is really weird and I haven’t seen anyone with this problem before. Anyone have any ideas why this might be happening?
