Vorsteiner | GTRS4 Widebody Encyclopedia
![]() Featured on BIMMERPOST.com ![]() Vorsteiner GTRS4 Widebody Encyclopedia At Vorsteiner, our mission with design is to be not only innovative, but also revolutionary for all BMW enthusiasts alike. BMW’s has always been a core market for us so it was only natural to do something groundbreaking for the BMW M4. Celebrating 10 years, our limited edition GTRS4 is a full wide body conversion for the BMW F82 M4. The GTRS4 is a full lightweight carbon composite conversion designed, tested and developed in-house by our team in Orange County, California. From the original launch of the development process, our design and engineering team worked in tandem to ensure the wider fenders and wheels were functional. We strategically crafted air ducts for optimal cooling towards the front brakes, while paying attention to aerodynamic ventilation for the inbound air to exit. The front fenders have a total span of 4 inches while the rear quarter panels sit 7 inches wider than it’s original form. We’ve specially designed 3-Piece Forged wheels in 20x10.5J and 20x13.5J respectively to fit the 275 and 345 width tires. The Special Edition GTRS4 Package Includes: • Carbon Fiber Front Bumper with an Integrated Front Splitter Element • Carbon Fiber Wide Front Fenders with Ventilation (2 inches wider each side) • Carbon Fiber Aero Side Blade Elements • Carbon Fiber Wide Rear Fenders (3.5 inches wider each side) • Carbon Fiber Rear Bumper with an Integrated Rear Diffuser Element • Vorsteiner 90mm Quad Exhaust Tip Finishers (Options: Brushed | Diamond Black) • Vorsteiner Embroidered Colored Floor & Trunk Mat Set • Vorsteiner Chrome Trunk Badging • GTRS4 Forged 3-Piece Wheels, 20x10.5J | 20x13.5J in Gloss Brushed Shadow This thread is meant to be a collective effort of the various Vorsteiner GTRS4 Widebody kits installed. This is also the perefect venue to ask any questions, give feedback and discuss anything pertaining to the GTRS4. Great post explaining the program details.
Looking forward to seeing the GTRS4 at our shop soon - possibly for our dyno event on 4/11.

I like the front much more than the back. The back looks good but it's just TOO wide, almost comically wide.

Anyone asking if there are real improvements is seriously foolish. Let's say you had (2) M4's......both stock. The only difference is one has this wide body kit. Both driven by professional driver X on a track. Guaranteed the wide body puts up better times! Good traction produces fast corners and exits! I want to know what width tires can get under one of these.

Entirely not convinced by those bulges around rear wheels. Must be that I'm missing the taste here.
Anyway, loving most of Vorsteiner's wheels in those rather more regular widths ![]() m.

It is designed nicely, but honestly I think that it is to wide. Somewhere in the middle would look much better. What the car should have been from the factory.

side profile wise, the rear just doesn't flow.
the rear looks damn good/ front looks damn good/ the side.. no flow.. maybe if it was ~2.5" wider with the top portion of the widening looking like the front. the rear kinda just starts to 'pop' out to create the wide rears but the front has a 'flow' to create the wide fronts.. think the 'flow' is missing in the rear.. otherwise.. looks bad ass IMO
