Help with lightweight lip
I had a local shop install a bunch of parts for me about 2 months ago, one of them being the Lightweight lip.
However, as I was washing the car today, it looks like two of the screw they hold two of the small posts in place have fallen out. Any idea where I could get a couple replacement posts? Thanks in advance |

Read somewhere that a hardware kit is available for the LW lip but maybe ask a vendor.
Otherwise you can probably find a similar piece in the misc trays in the hardware section at Home Depot, etc. |

I would double check everything they installed to make sure they were done correct. First I would start with the lip and check all of the fasteners.
Not sure on the hardware I’d guess where ever you bought the lip should have it. |

You're gonna need the spacer in addition to the screws. The ones that fit into the small spacers you can find some stainless steel screws that are about the same length and similar in thread pitch. it doesn't have to be perfect. I had to replace one of mine b/c my brand new Lightweight lip came with one screw that was inexplicably shorter than all the others. I couldn't find the exact thread pitch but found one that was close and it was totally fine.
If you are missing the center screw that holds that thicker oval piece, I found perfect stainless steel replacements with the correct thread pitch at my local Ace Hardware. Unfortunately, they were phillips head screws and not torx, but they worked perfectly fine (had to replace one of these bigger screws b/c one of the screws supplied was too short). |

Go back to the original shop and hope they can fix it under warranty. Usually they should have the spare parts as well. If not, can check identify the model of lip that you bought and go on Ebay/Amazon/Alibaba/Aliexpress and ask the vendors to purchase the posts/parts that you need.

I’ve been considering having all the spacers 3D printed. Just wasn’t sure if people ever needed replacements. |
