Hey friends,

Looking for some much needed troubleshooting advice.

I installed EMD springs, didn't like the height so I removed and put OEM back on. I jacked up the rotor and hub then tightened the strut to the strut top mount, Torqued everything to spec, and am now hearing a clunking noise in the driver's front that's progressively gotten worse.

At first I only heard it on certain bumps at slower speeds, never at higher speeds. Now just this week I hear it on almost every bump at any speed and I swear I even hear it on semi flat/smooth roads and it sounds like something is almost rattling around. Sometimes I feel it through the floorboard/pedals. If I push down on the car I can hear it but have no idea what it is. It sounds like it's coming from the top of the strut but I can't confirm 100%.

I was able to relocate it by pushing down on the car (see video link). As if this isn't enough I also have a clicking/grinding noise on both front sides when parked and turning the wheels lock to lock.

Sounds like the bolt at the top mount is loose. If you take off the rubber cover and push down on the car body do you see movement there?

That's what some guys on the Facebook group said. I'll have to try removing those covers and see if I can see it moving.thats a good idea.
