Congratulations! You must have some strong self control to not drive it for the 6 weeks. I would have given in by day 2 and hoped for the best.

Maybe it's just the MA/VT DMV bureaucracy that slowed down your title? No USPS problems here in my neck of the woods - they even deliver on Sunday right to my doorstep. Worth the wait, though! Nice E36 M3 convertible in the background!

Beautiful ride ! Surprised because I have excellent experiences with USPS. FedEx and UPS are the ones that are awful.

My '13 335 needed a suspension refresh for daily driving, so I used that as a poor excuse to scour the market for F8x's. Ideally, I was waiting for a 2018+ SMB F82 ZCP in my price range. But after religiously checking the market, a low mileage, loaded 2018 F80 ZCP on this forum caught my eye. I could not resist the YMB and Ferric Grey 666M combo

Bought the car sight unseen following a thorough PPI and mutual trust in the owner, partially thanks to Bimmerpost. Upon arrival, the car was mint and everything had gone smoothly, except one thing... Due to multiple issues/delays with the DMV and mainly incompetence at USPS, it took ~6 weeks for the title to arrive after paying for the car. Besides a few white knuckle miles with my old plates, the waiting game of watching the car sit in the garage unregistered was excruciating to say the least

A slew of tasteful mods were already installed: lowering springs, spacers, VRSF midpipe, GTS DCT, tints and front PPF. I have TLG front mudflaps and a CF Diffuser sitting in my garage waiting for installation, with many more mods to come.

After years of envy, it's quite surreal to sit behind the wheel of a proper F8x. The car blurs the line between comfort and absurd performance. My indy mechanic is begging me to garage the car for the winter, no way!

In love with how the paint differs in the sun vs shade

My 2013 335 E92 FBO that will be dearly missed (mainly power steering)
Congratulations!

The car is an absolute beast....

Congrats!
USPS is overloaded. Give them a break, they're getting attacked by their own govt leaders they don't need us beating on them too. Title should have been sent fedex or ups overnight.

Indeed. If you can go shopping, go out to eat. You can go vote. Mailgate inbound.

What he said, always Fedex or UPS a title. If it gets lost and there is no way to track it your in for a lot of leg work to get another. Worth the $18 to save a potential headache. Glad it worked out for you. I'm in NH and will drive mine this winter as well.

They initially failed to deliver the payoff check was the first hiccup. Then the DMV refused to ship title with a tracking number, would only ship the title via first class mail, which was the major 3.5 week bottleneck. Hopefully they get their emergency funding...

I wish, was begging the DMV to ship with a tracking number, offered to pay, etc... not apart of their SOP.

Are you going for staggered or a square winter set up?

Probably a square set up but not sure yet. Brookline is the next town over from me and my father in law lives in Stoneham. Probably see you around down there.

I just got my car 3 weeks ago and went through a similar process. Took 2.5 weeks for the seller to get the loan paid off and title in hand. Was a very long 2.5 weeks.

Great looking car. Congrats!

It has been over three months since I purchased my car and I still won't have the title for another 2-3 weeks.

Texas has an exemption on all paper plate expirations. I'm dealing with delayed registration now and found this out.

Just throwing that out there for anyone else running a paper plate right now.

Awesome! Any updated pics with the spoiler and diffuser?

Also, how you liking the ride quality of the Pro Kit? I'm guessing pretty OEM-like, huh? Drop looks good. Not too aggressive, but a def improvement in leveling out front and rear fender gaps.
