I dont mind the sound but what i cant ignore is the interior buzzing and drone.

I have a catless DP, MPE F82 probably the worst setup you can have for drone and resonance, the whole car vibrates in certain ranges.

I am thinking of adding resonators

It's...fine. Tolerable with down pipes.

SSR catless downpipes, VRSF single mid to ZCP muffler. Sounds great, actually had compliments on it and no drone even when running flaps open. I'm coming from a procharged s550 mustang and im not sure why people say it sounds like ass...not a v8 roar but far from a honda tincan or a wet fart...

AA mid/valve controller. No complaints. IMO the AA equal length pipe kind of makes it sound like 'every other car' with an exhaust. Just my 0.02.

Stock ZCP with MPE -- it sounds like a trash can rolling down the street.

I like it, exhaust flaps open all the time is the way to go. I would blast that glorious full throttle fart all day long if I could. I liked the e46 m3 rasp too. I love cars that sound different and don't get why people spend thousands to make it sound like another car

I don't own one (yet) but that sound is one of the reasons I want one!

If your push notification sound on the Bimmerpost app isn't the exhaust sound then I feel sad for you.

Legit this, this car wether good or bad sounds unique af.

Honda fart cans don't sound anything like this, i only can't stand the buzzing and vibration of a titanium MPE Exhaust with catless DP

I don't mind it now with an equal-length set-up. There's still a raw mechanical buzz-saw to the exhaust, except now it sounds like it's revving to 7400rpm at 7400rpm vs sounding like its only revving to 3700rpm at 7400rpm.

Is that just a mid pipe only? And what’s the price tag?

Remus catback exhaust, active sound deleted, underhood open CTS intakes, BPM stage 1 tune. Love the sound of the exhaust mixed w/ the very pronounced intake and turbo spool sounds and the bark of the exhaust and intake noise when I shift gears in my 6MT.

I like it, but I agree it could be better. I had the MPE on both my F80's. Sounds slightly better on my CS since it has "buuuurrrrbbbles".

Doesn't sound bad at +120mph:

I LOVE the sound. I love how raspy it sounds especially above 4K. I have my valves permanently open and it sounds really nice when downshifting too. Coming from Audi I love the fact that there's no soft limiter so I'm able to rev to redline while in park. My only complaint is that with the valves open permanently, the car drones a little on the highway.

I like it for sure but at this price point there's way better sounding cars.

Car sounds good, better than videos but I don't think it still has the Pure Inline-6 sound, ex: 2JZ, RB26, etc. There are some good options for exhausts such as doing a single mid-pipe with a Downpipe and Axle-Back which will be the route I'm taking. Or throwing in the AWE exhausts which still carries rasp but sounds good. If I was gonna go for pure noise, I'd go for a single turbo kit.

I am embarrassed by cold startup (ZCP, MPE, Valve controller open all the time) until it quiets down at exactly 31 seconds...we affectionately call it the angry snowblower at my house. Otherwise I love how it sounds driving - ASD is off, and MPE with valves open all the time. I dislike the burbles and find them about as real as the bird sounds at Disney that turn out are playing through fake rocks with speakers in them...Not terribly raspy to me, and once warmed up inside it sounds great...very good feedback to know where the engine is revving...rather than ASD I wish BMW would just put a megaphone on the trunklid and we can play whatever sound we wanted for revving...I'd go with little kid matchbox car sounds personally on the outside and Porsche GT3 sounds on the inside...
