Who here is running a square setup?

Im looking to buy a set of rear OEM wheels for the front to make it a square 285x19 set up. Will this be possible without rubbing? Will it have too much over steer?

I have considered going with a square oem 19in setup as well but have not yet pulled the trigger.

A. You will likely need spacers up front for inner clearance. 12-15mm would probably be best, getting you to the equivalent of et28-et25 offset.

B. 285/35/19's will not work up front. They are too tall and will rub on the liners.
The overall diameter of the 275/35/19's are the max I've seen work. Even with these some people report slight rubbing at full lock and some say it just clears. Massaging the rubbing section of the liner(if any) with the help of a heat gun has shown to resolve this.

Good luck. I'm Interested in seeing what you end up with.

285/35/19 is about the same OD as a 308/660-18 which we've run in front. Your potential issues will be the wheel offset, if you're lowered are you on coilovers or OEM struts. If on OEM struts and lowered we know the tire will contact the bottom of the lower perch.

I'd run a 285/30 if I had to choose this route.
