If I was a billionaire, had a 2020 m3 on order as well as a garage of other cars from porsches to rolls to BMW etc.... I would put the Liberty Walk kit on it to make it bad ass... But if I wasn't a billionaire... no chance in hell.(cat) |

I came from the dodge world and it was a very fun car to drive. it was not a hellcat but was a scatpack. I drove the hellcat on several occasions and it is a beast! I was considering the hellcat as their lease programs now are amazing. it 60% residual with a 0.000183 money factor for 10k mile lease.
I walked away from this deal because of the M3 I decided to go with. The hellcat is nice but lacks luxury. powerwise.... no comment. only with a few mods you are in the 900whp to 1000whp range. Parts are cheaper to get and it attracts a lot of attention. Good luck with your purchase if you decide to go with it

Go to the Dodge forum and post "would you trade your Hellcat for an M3" I guarantee the answer would be the resounding "hell(cat) no!" I think these threads are silly, If everyone wanted to drive only an M3, then there would be only one car maker in the world. Everyone likes what they like for a reason. The Hellcat fits a certain driver. I was listening to a Joe Rogan podcast with the guy from Gas Monkey Garage (discovery channel car builder). He loves Dodge and even does there commercials because its his style of car. Rogan asked him about M3s and he had no clue what a "E46 M3" was. He had no clue about anything M3 at all. The Hellcat was sold out for a while with backed up orders and I know demons was selling out for way over sticker too.. Every car has a fan club and a purpose, you just happen to like M3s like I do.

When searching for a vehicle the interior is important to me as well as other aspects. I find the interior of American cars to be boxed and very plastic like. German is luxurious and will always go that route.

Always depends on the deal 😎
I would do it for the right price. My daily commute to work is one traffic light after the other one, so why not? My M4 never saw a Racetrack either. |

No hate here. Almost pulled a trigger on a hellcat charger a few times. The engine and supercharger whine is intoxicating. Far more fun to be a hooligan in the hellcat. In the end, the superior interior, exterior, handling and manual transmission made hard choice of getting a m3 over a cat easier. Plus I drive 20k miles a year so it’s way more comfortable to be in a m3 than charger. Had I chosen the cat I would be happy as well, just a different kind of happy.
I don’t think most true car enthusiasts would hate on a hellcat. The ones that do aren’t the type of enthusiasts you want to really talk to anyway. |

I’ll keep my f80 all day long everyone has a hellcat and also not my type I like European cars and hellcat looks the same as any other challenger really let’s be honest the 4 series to m4 is a drastic change.

I did a quick search.... 10.9@126 with drag radials for the hellcat
Is that right? I thought it would be 130+ traps with that much power. Hope they put that engine in a 3000lb all out sports car instead of 4500lb porker |

Hellcat drivers are the type of guys who photoshop blurs instead of using the right lens!
lol jk Not hating on it, it definitely was a consideration a few years ago. However, if I wanted a Hellcat, I would have gotten a Hellcat. They are beasts, but there were other boxes to check.

Lol. I had a SRT years ago and loved it. It reminded me of driving my 1970 Buick Skylark. Looking over that giant hood. It sounded so Merica.
My Brother and Dad both have Charger hellcats and have tracked them. They do very well despite their weight. Modern auto's shift almost as fast as true DCT's, and with so much torque on tap, you don't need to shift as much anyways. Personally I'm not a fan of the Charger body style, and don't want to think about parking downtown, but it was on my list. Ultimately I figured blowing past them in a car that is more than a thousand lbs less would be more fun and so went for another //M with plans to tune.

Had both at the same time. The Hellcat was more "raw" and way more fun to drive but the M3 was overall the better car.

I would never replace my m3 with a hellcat. That being said, a black hellcat has to be the most intimidating car I've ever seen in my rear view mirror, and definitely makes me move over. Would love to own one if I had the extra space and budget.
