Weird transmission noise at low speed on F82 M4

Hi all,

I had several F80/82 and never heard a noise like this. The car is a LCI 2017 competition with 83000km so around 50000miles I guess.

I cannot hear that noise after 40-50km/h and noise is still here if I put the car in Neutral while driving around 20/30km/h. I though first that related to the wheel bearing or something like this but on a lift, no noise at all there. I have a shop near by who is telling me that for him, coming from the gearbox but he is not a BMW specialist so he is not sure about that. I am supride since gearbox on those cars seems quite reliable.

There is only noise, no vibration or anything else. On the lift, noise is not really present but I can feel a bit in the car th ssame thing even if barly noticeable

Would appreciate some help, could not find similar issue in different posts.

I have the same noise, comes from the gearbox, not the driveshaft.
50k miles on my car. I have stage ecu 2 + xhp stage 3.
Im thinking to swap used transmission

I have a similar noise but it stops when shifting into neutral. Did you ever find out what it was?

Same. It stops in neutral and i cant hear it in reverse
I think its a bearing in the rear part of DCT

In my case, noise remain when I put the car in Neutral so don't think that coming from the gearbox...
I saw an improvement after using ISTA for new adaptation of clutch on DTC and same for differential but it came back after few days...
