I decided to do some more experimenting today. Bottomed out the rear corner to check for clearance. Nothing touched and no contact anywhere.

Like I said man I find it hard to believe but who knows. And if it were going to rub it would rub on the outside right on the shoulder of the tire.

Definitely a big improvement in grip, I can actually floor it in 3rd now at 60mph without it spinning. 1st is still useless, 2nd gear hooks up cleanly if they are warm.

I'm also running F80paul E85 aggressive tune so pushing maybe 600whp/650wtq.

Yea you have a little over 100whp on me so I can imagine those doing nothing for 1st. My second is the same way, hooks most of the time, I'm waiting for warmer weather.

That's IMHO perfect fitment by the way, I love the wheels too.

The M4 has a smidge more rear room than the M3. If 11.5, 325s fit on the f8x, fantastic news!

How's the balance? Would think there could be more understeer with such a big difference front to back.

With so much more rear grip I would imagine the balance be very different from stock. I don't track my car nor do I pretend to know what I'm talking about when it comes to vehicle control at the limit. I push my F80 maybe 7/10th max on spirited canyon runs so nowhere near the limit of the car. I did this modification to help with straight-line traction issues and aesthetics purposes, for me it accomplishes both perfectly.

The 295/30/20 Cup 2s have very similar dimensions to the 295/30/20 4S.

Both have 11.9" section widths, the 4S standard spec has a tread width of 11.1", the Cup 2s are between 10.7-11" on various models and both have an overall diameter of 27". I've run the 4S in that size on my stock 666M with no issues and no rubbing so it should be a similar fit with the Cup 2s. It will be close with the stock 666M offsets and it will look a bit muffin top with the stock 10" wide rim but it will work.

Now the MPS4S 325/25/20 is a whole different beast, 13.2" section width, 12.2" tread width, different brands have varying widths but the MPS4S is a wide 325. I mean the stock rear 666M already looks a bit mushroomed with a standard spec 295 MPS4S, I can't even imagine what another 1.1" of width on it would look like. I don't even know if any tire shop would mount this on a 10" rim.

If you go with Michelin either 4S or Cup2, stick with a 285 or 295 max rear tire if you're mounting them on your stock 666M. If you go with a 295, I suggest you do a MO Mercedes spec, it has a bit more of a narrow tread width compared to a standard spec 295 but still wider than a 285 so it will look good and squared up.

If you want to do 325s you will need at least an 11.5" wide rim with a high 40s offset for it to work.

Thanks for that. Waiting on an answer about fit for a 265 35 20 on a 666M front. Will run a Cup 2 R if it fits I will match it with a 295 30 20 Cup 2 rear - It'll be for street & track, and I've experienced a 4S go off in high temps.

IMO, not a good idea to mismatch PSC2R with PSC2 front and rear

I have both 325 on 11.5 in the past and currently have 12. 11.5 doesn't rub but 12 will rub a bit. I think 11.5 is better for firmest* but 12 looks badass
