It looks very similar to Turners house brand in a few areas...... And it is under 800 bucks and a little less carbon

I was actually waiting for the Turner gloss cf tube to come back in stock before getting their complete system. Their intake starts at 733 with NO carbon fiber at that price. With cf lids and tube its about 1400, which is still a competitive price. They even still have the Forge intake up on their site at 1600.

Just purchased one, and i think that was the last one as the website says 'currently out of stock'
Even with shipping to Europe, it was 1/2 the price we pay here.

That looks great but why isn't there a clip for the coolant line? I honestly can't stand when these aftermarket companies cut corners. The clip is there from the factory and I'd like it to be on $800 intakes as well.

I just got mine today! The packaging alone is impressive. The finish is even better than the examples on the website. I'll post pics of it. I'm very impressed.

I heard their top mount IC dont even clear the CS hood which I feel is a horrible design by the company. That being said there are concerns about fitment. Anybody install these yet?

Forge should have changed the reservoir cap with a shallower unit by now to clear CS hood. Check with them before ordering.

Great eye, didn't even notice that. I wonder if there is a place somewhere to tuck that line in. If not, then definitely an oversight that should have been resolved before production since it looks to be an easy thing to address.

It was made before cs/gts. I just rise my gts hood about 1/4 inches to clear

I just looked at this some further and compared the designs that I know of that uses CF box housings.

AWE Tuning does not appear to have the clip on their CF airbox either. The one that does is made by Gruppe M.

After comparing the Forge, AWE and Gruppe M, I think I understand why Forge and AWE may not want the coolant line running down the side of the inlet pipe. IMO, it does not flow well against the carbon fiber, which is why I think this was an intentional part of their design, rather than an oversight.

However, I don't see why they could not have made the clip hidden for a clean tuck. Maybe there was clearance issues or some other reason.

Sad day, didn't fit because of my EDC wiring and some other wire looms that are probably due to the fact that the body shop who re-painted my front bumper routed the wires wrong. Really frustrating. It also doesn't play nice with my Turner OCC. It did at first test fit but upon installing the top cover, there was just no way it would've worked. I spent all this time waxing and ceramic coating it too. I'll either send it back or sell it.

Only reason it wont fit is the EDC wiring?
Would it with someone without EDC?

If it's something you can't use, I would consider taking it from you?

No it's not only the EDC wiring (that should be pretty easily moved) it's the fact that the body shop mis-routed a TON of wiring from the front of the car into a path where the carbon heat shield should sit flush against but now it cannot. I mean I could cut it but that seems ridiculous. The wiring is all zipped and loomed up and has no slack either so it is just a major headache. I'll sell it for what I paid for it if they don't return it but I'm in SoCal so if someone wanted to just scoop it up, that would be better.

Thats quite unfortunate.... I missed this thread and per usual it's already sold out.

Since im in Norcal you could possibly save the return fees back to the UK and just ship/sell to me, IF you are deciding to let it go....

Let me know as im interested.

Awww man that sucks, sorry to hear that. On the bright side I am sure you will be able to move it quickly on here.
