They are the M performance option wheels/tires that BMW sells. (with 12.5 spacers all around)

Any issues with only installing Euro V1 fronts on a F80 ZCP? Stock rears look like the perfect height.
Do I need to reset the EDC? Will the car be "off balance" with only the fronts? Do I need to cut the bump stops? Any rubbing with 265/30R20 tires with 12mm spacers up front? Last edited by nick_xd; 08-02-2022 at 10:45 PM.. |

Cool glad to hear. Does the rear drop any more with the Eibach V1s? I was reading some people saying it would be slightly higher than stock which is concerning. But then a few of those posts seemed like they had them installed incorrectly so now I'm not sure what to believe...

From what I see with my v1's my rears seem to sit higher than stock. I may swap back to stock rears.

I ended up installing both front and rear V1's and it looks great. The rears look the same as the stock ZCP springs to my eye, but I didn't measure. Either way the rears look like the ideal height. I'd say the fronts could go a few mm lower but overall I'm satisfied; looks infinitely better than stock. Ride quality is basically identical to stock during daily driving.

So just installed Eibach springs in the front only, And the driver side has 1 more finger gap than the passenger. Everything was installed correctly including the spring seated correctly reading Eibach instead of upside-down Eibach when installed, Am I OCD or should I let it settle?

So I’m interested in Eibachs for my f82 competition… but, I must say, I’m a little confused with all of the talk. Some people only put on the front springs some both, and then there’s v1 and V2’s… how do you know what to select?
I’m looking for a lower ride stance all around … front could be slightly lower if need be, I’d like to avoid any degradation in performance - stock performance or better. I’ve also heard the Eibach springs could be a little bouncy at higher freeway speeds? What have owners found? Thx |

The rear goes down just few mm and the front 20mm. But I have those springs and there is no such rake, maybe just a little one. The reason for this in this particular picture is that the additional rake impression is created by the slight difference in angle between both photos. Have a close look at some of the vertical lines in the background behind the car and you should notice that too.

i've read every single post in this thread and have concluded the following:
did i miss anything? kind of a bummer bc i liked the modest drop. however, i'm not too sure if i necessarily want a softer springs. |

1) First I researched it thoroughy and concluded this: https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...&postcount=978 2) Then I bought V2 3) I slapped them on my car along with the EDC CS coding (no difference, at least not on the street, no noticable difference in spring rates compared to OEM ZCP either, handles pretty much the same, a bit rougher first 1k miles or so, then it settles) 4) Took some photos and placed them here: https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=2028051 5) Never looked back and lived happily ever after They are great, not too high, not too low, balanced OEM handling, no bounciness, not low enough to wear the shocks prematurely - 100% would do this all over again. Don't overanalyze it, just go for it and you won't regret that. |

Got V1s installed over the weekend (E10-20-031-09-22) on a 2018 M3 Comp with 12mm/10mm Macht Schnell spacers and had the car aligned at the same time. Unfortunately, they were not able to align it properly, they struggled to dial in the rear camber/toe.
They said they think I need camber plates, but everything I have read about these springs indicated no need for additional parts or coding. I'm wondering if I should have let the car settle for a few hundred miles prior to having the alignment done, or if the shop perhaps made a mistake in the install? Earlier in the thread there were some quotes from Eibach regarding the rear suspension needing to be loaded while control arm bushings are torqued, will ask the shop about this later today. Just seems really odd that I am having this issue while nobody else in the thread seems to have had it. Debating just switching the rear springs back to stock as the front wheel gap was really the only thing I was trying to address. Not planning to track the car or anything, it is a daily driver. And I don't really want to buy camber plates or mess with any coding. Here is the info they gave me RE: the alignment, the right rear was their big concern. |

Eibach V1 Springs + 15mm Macht Schnell spacers all around. I may switch up the fronts to 10mm due to slight rub on full lock turns.
