Center console digital display sometimes red sometimes blue

What decides whether it shows up as orangish red or blue? I prefer when it’s blue. I’m talking about the digital display with the temperature on the middle console part of the dash.

I believe it's when the headlights are on. Orangeish light is actually easier on the eyes than the white, though not sure why the speedometer and stuff are white and doesn't change with the center lights lol.
