RHD UK M4 Competition Pack in California

Been meaning to post some pictures for a while, but here is my UK model F82 Competition Pack in California. It resides in LA but has done a trip out to SF across the PCH and Vegas too, otherwise making sure to keep the mileage down.

San Marino Blue with White Ivory Leathers. Everything stock but has factory installed OEM CS Front Splitter, CS Rear Spoiler and Diffuser from new.

Perfect colour combo for Cali, gets an insane amount of attention!

I run it at 30% 101 Race Fuel and 70% V Power to keep it close to UK spec petrol.

Absolutely no issues driving a RHD in California, I actually prefer it to driving a LHD. I alternate between this and a LHD car, its no effort to switch, but RHD is the way!

What you think of the machine?

Was there a process to getting this imported into the US?

Very cool! Is it a later car with OPF filters in it?

Could be the quietest M4 in the whole US if so!

Yeah there is a process but not too much of a heavy lift, the shipping company guides you through most of it. Send over your docs to the shipping company, pay a small duty when it lands and then hit the road.

I have no idea tbh, how can i find out? Interestingly I cant find any F82 competition packs in the USA. But I have seen some with the black badges and compy alloys.

Was it even a thing out here with the F82?

Had the pleasure to meet the owner and see the car in person, absolutely stunning and would make a great stable mate to the G80M3!

If the car was a 68 plate or later in the UK. It would have the OPF filters. I think it was from June 2018 onwards…

Hi! Can you please share which transport company made the process for you and how much was the price? Also, have you been able to fully register the car in the states or are you still running on the temporary import permit? I wanna import my M4 from Spain to Miami! Thanks!
