TY, I've found that using most of my energy just to stay in front of the wheel has become the limiting factor for me. Now I have a project!

Watkins Glen International
2016 BMW M3 Competition Package 2:09.74s. OhioRiderAaron M3 Competition Package (RE71R, Ferodo) Second time @ The Glen. Outside of the rain and hot/humid weather it was a great holiday event with Chin. Happy with sub :10 but definitely felt like a :08 was achievable. A bit of traffic to navigate but still had fun. Need to go back in the fall/spring w/cool temperatures. Didn't even bother with the Nittos, just ran RE71R's for both days. Worked on trying to carry more speed through T1, the esses, and into the chicane. Wish I lived closer as it's such a great track! |

Thanks guys! I forgot to mention there was a M4 CS owner in attendance at this event. I tried to hook up with him on track, but it just never happen due to us being in separate run groups and his being jam packed full of cars. Oh well.

Pocono raceway 07/11/19
First 2 sessions was raining slightly, dried out a little to the third session where I set up my best lap of the day 01:43.09 @ 151 MPH. Fuel was running out, so did only half of the last session, very nice wide and fast track - highly recommend. Last edited by AMOR; 07-12-2019 at 06:24 PM.. |

Hey, thanks! Still learning how to put everything together with a dashboard overlay, etc lol. I’m not sure which course exactly, it was my first time at pocono raceway. On youtube search for “scca track night pocono” and on some vids I saw track maps overlayed. Track is amazing, you will enjoy!

Canadian tire motorsport park (Mosport GP) 1:34.96 Absurdium M4 ZCP 6MT (nt01, PFC08) Not sure if there are a lot of Canandian folks here but here is a side by side comparison with my buddy in his Cayman S (981) at Mosport GP (or Canadian tire Motorsport park). Mods are in the video description. Best of the day was a 1:34.96 but more time can be found in 2, 3, and 8 for sure. Braked early coming down the back straight due to brake management. Will try to brake after the crest next time! Open to any advice! |

2018 M3 CS DCT Michelin Pilot Cup2's and stock brake pads Akrapovic axle back slip-on in 1:23.98 Like you said open lapping days at Cayuga are a complete gong show. Consider signing up for private track days, you'll be able to get a few more clean laps and really push the car. I also drove my friend's GT4. Probably did a 1:22. |

Limerock Park
0:59.94 - dvas (RE71R 275 square, Bilstein PSS10, Camber Plates, PFC 08) Finally broke through the 1 minute barrier on a mostly stock BMW M2 running on "street" tires. No slicks and no engine mods. Fist session of the day, on 7.22.2019. |

Was a bit lucky in that we had the perfect conditions: cool day, with lots of rubber laid down from the IMSA guys two days before. But I wish my official lap was a little more convincing, rather than 59.9x. But, I'll take it. I had a best rolling lap of 59.5 and theoretical best of low 59s. So, you know, even though I said to myself that I would ease up after breaking the minute mark, now I wonder if 58s are possible. Last edited by dvas; 07-24-2019 at 10:10 AM.. |

Yesterday I drove at The Ridge Motorsports Park, WA. It was my second time ever at the track. I managed 2:00.904 in the third session, where I also went from DSC ON to MDM mode. Definitely not smooth, but fun!

Agreed... I think you gain a lot of traction on that turn with the slight bank and elevation change. Seems, like you can hit it hard because the car will have lots of grip. I've never driven Lime Rock, but I really want to, so please correct me if I'm wrong!
