Surprisingly like the look of the C63 in these pics, at least talking from side profile. The M has it beat in all other angles, but the 4 doors flows better to me on the Merc.
Edit Strong thread update ^ fucking lol I'd be livid. |

Dealership or the factory probably didn't tighten the coolant valve correctly. Exact same thing happened with my CLA 45 when I first picked it up. Sucks that this happened to him.

The look of the M3 is way more muscular with the front and rear fender flared out. They flared out the front fenders and not the rear of the C63 which makes it look mismatched. The steering column shifter on the C63 also reminds me of my old Chevy Astro work van.
is that carbon ceramic brake rotors on the front and steel on the rear? LOL |

I really like the wheels on the C, and the rear profile. Side view does flow well, but is 'flatter' than the M, and the front looks kinda just like another nice C class. I guess it's just not as 'different' from the base as the M3/4 imo.
Still a great looking car, probably fast and comfortable as hell. I'm sure performance differences between the two won't be anything noticeable during street driving by non-professionals. Would like to see the drag and track numbers tho

One of these is my next car. I'm currently driving a 2013 335i M Sport and the Mercedes C63 AMG got my attention. Why? V8 vs. I6, 469 HP vs. 425, 4.0 0-60 vs. 4.1.
Handling, I don't know. Engine sound, should go to the Merc. I heard one in my neighborhood recently and it turned my head. The C63 AMG is also less money pound for pound. I priced a minimalist C63 AMG at around $67,000 MSRP. I'd like to here some comments either way. I love my 335i but the truth is that I want more power and I want that engine sound. Other considerations would be the Chevy Corvette, Mercedes SLK 55 AMG & Audi RS5. For leasing BMW blows it away but for buying? I don't know. I'd love to here if any others are considering these two cars and your thoughts. |

I so want to like this car because of the engine and all this car stands for but everytime I see this car and its styling, it really instigates the gag reflex.

Ignoring the price, i like the way bmw's drive over mercedes, bmw's tranmission manual and dct are much better than merc. The c63 seems better for everyday driving but if you want to track the car, M3 seems to be the clear choice. Sound is definitely better in the c63, but the M3 sounds great too. Ultimately, everyone should test drive each to figure out what fits better for them. For me its the M3. |

Have you actually seen one in real life or are you just internet surfing? I saw one the other day and I changed my mind.

The C63 gives me such a mixed feeling when I look at it. At some angles, it looks okay, at best. But other angles, it just does nothing at all. Looks like something my grandfather would drive. The seats and the engine seem to be the only thing I can appreciate about it.

Similar msrp sure but it seems the lease payment may be something around 200$ more per month... Looks wise there is something bulbous going on where the rear windscreen meets the roof, the m3 starts to taper earlier for a streamline look while the c63's roof doesn't start to taper until farther back, hard to explain but it bugs me every time I see a w205, and I am starting to see tons around LA. Haven't seen a c63 yet though. |

Man that opening on the front bumper of the C63 looks huge.
And what the hell were the designers thinking when they decided to put that red line garbage around the wheels. That's so 2007. |

Have to give them credit that the C63 does look slightly better than the CLA45. Will have to agree the redline on the wheel is so ricer and played out.
Every time I pull up behind an AMG with the fake exhaust tips gives me a good laugh |
