2017 M4 1100 or 1200 miles first service?

Just picked up my M4 last week the car is telling me service is due at 1100 miles while everything I read says 1200 miles is the first service. Not a huge deal just curious anyone else have a 1100 mileage first service??

The car uses several different factors to determine when it needs/wants the service done. If it saying 1100 miles then I would make the appointment and get it done. Having the break in service done a little early will not harm anything or negatively impact warranty. That service will be the break in service and you won't need to make another appointment for the "1200 mile" service. Likely just the cold weather that is triggering the service a little early.

It is saying it is due IN 1100 miles not AT 1100 miles. So if you have 100 miles on the car, its due in 1100 miles which = due @ 1200 miles It also does not give you an exact mileage when it is due. So if you have 45miles on the car, it will just say, due in 1100 miles instead of due in 1155 miles.

My car from new said 1100 miles was the first service could it be different from an M3 to an M4?
