Can we use SRF in the system? I note that BMW now is specing a low viscosity fluid? I've used Motul 660 and SRF in my e92 without any issues. Thoughts Comments? I want to flush my fluid on my CCB's with SRF. At the end of a canyon drive in a very tight run they get a tad soft in the pedal.

Yes - every 2 years as part of the maintenance plan. If you're good with tech/advisor you can get them to put in fluid of your choice, but ymmv.

Almost 9000 miles on my'16 M3CP CCB's (20" wheels) and no issues. The '16 non-ZCP (19" wheels) was quite different though. I had pebbles/rocks consistently getting lodged in the brakes as well as a couple large scratches along the barrel of the rim from this.
I did track the non-ZCP version and noticed brake squeal was at a minimum during this. That's probably due to the hotter temperatures on road course. Regardless, they performed flawlessly and remained consistent lap after lap.
