I have people ask me questions almost every time I fill up - 95% are from people who have no idea about cars, but I'm an extrovert so I have no problem chattin people up, and nobody has ever said anything other than complimentary and that includes in Europe: German, Italy, France, Belgium, Switzerland - got questions and comments at almost every gas station there too. What are these horrible lame comments you're getting at gas stations? Truly curious here. |

OK, really had to hang my head. Was out driving on back roads around San Antonio. It was 97 degrees. Was having a blast, saw a Ferrari, a Jaguar F type, and a Porsche 911 Cabrio on the same roads. Unfortunately, the Jag and the Porsche (both of which were white with tan interiors, like my car) had their tops down despite the temps. Should have removed my golf clubs before the ride, then I could have done that, too! What's a little sweat? The heat doesn't bother me on the golf course, why should I not put the top down? Promise I'll do better next time.

I knew I had a wild night out with the senior citizens to expect, I wore a pair of shoes my healing ankle did not like (I dropped a big ass log on it two years earlier and that made wearing heels altogether a hell on earth) and I was the dd so there was no way I could've even let alcohol to smooth things over. Anyway, I kicked off the shoes in about ten minutes into the party and I spent three hours on the dance floor making a fool of myself and my partner. Epic fun, but as a tip I'd suggest to everyone that if you're dancing with anyone whos over 70, make sure they drink tons of water. I got back home, and I dropped my shoes to the garage floor. Then a few weeks later I was exhausted after babysitting for 15 hours or so, I drove in and I heard a sound that stopped my heart. I fucking swear to god I always drive sober and especially while parking I pay attention. The sound was like a skull was crashed under the tire. I couldn't even back out again since the crack sounded so bad. I was expecting a headless two year old or anything as bad when I ran to the front. There it was, my shoe that never got to be worn actually, and all I lost was my dignity and a pair of torturing devices. I've done some amazing shit with cars you guys can't even picture (beaters that would make you cry is a direct translation) but with Peter I always played nice. That's the only accident I can claim in the 31 000 miles I did with him. As a conclusion I say that if you do the same, please do not wake up the entire house by yelling ding dong the witch is dead. My kids buried the shoe because I made the shoe sound human. I wasn't a fan of the euro mdm either. It was better than the us version but it's still silly to buy a car you do not want to control.

I have done some cosmetic mods to my car that some people don't like - and I don't care. I have made this car my own. I freaking love this car and touch her every time I go into the garage. I get up early every Saturday morning and take her out. She never fails to scare me😳, excite me and remind me that driving is one of my favorite things to do.....and yes for me this car is everything I expected it to be and more.....I take her shortcomings with her strengths as good partners do. I feel lucky to own her and thank my wife every time I get home from driving for letting me have two girlfriends!

I tell my wife that she HAS to press the M1 or M2 button upon start whenever she drives (which is extremely rare) or that it will hurt the car. Can't stand the thought of this car driving in efficient mode even with her driving. She called me once in panic indicating she forgot to do this and was worried she might have broken the car

My favorite story of the month, Bonzer. I love it! LMAO at her panicking that she broke the car because she didn't hit one of the buttons. You're my hero.... |

Oddly enough the exhaust note of the M3 is one reason I have held back from purchasing one. I test drove an M4 and was really disappointed in the exhaust note. Call me spoiled for driving a 6.2 liter V8 but my 2011 S4 with Milltek on it sounded better than the M3/4s I have heard. There are a few in my area and I can always call them out just by sound even when I do not see them. Especially in parking garage to my gym.

I literally just read every comment in this thread, and wanted to multi-quote SO many to share my emotion. However, it's about the confessions, is it not? Full disclosure - I absolutely love my car, and care about its well being to the fullest, despite the following:
-I rent my car on Turo. -My highest monthly car payment to-date has been -$300, including my insurance premium. -I relish in each small victory against non-instigated highway pulls against garbage Mustang GTs with the LOUDEST exhausts I've ever heard, and the FATTEST tires they could've possibly purchased/fit on their stock wheels. |

I have my M1 button set to the softest settings (eco, comfort, comfort) and that is the mode the car is usually in.

I recently bought a Porsche Cayenne GTS as my "utility" vehicle and winter car. I took it to the transfer station last week and two people complimented me on it. Is there any status in having the nicest car at the local dump?

I have spent way too much money modding my car and I can't stop finding things I want to do. And then I see what other people have done and it appears I have done virtually nothing compared to many on this forum. The first thing I got was MPE and also have HEX tune. The car actually sounds really good now, considering where it started. Always drive in sport throttle, sport suspension and comfort steering. Have 6MT and love it. Have 18's and love them. Have sunroof and like that too (I actually use it). Although if I had AW, AY, MW, SS or SO I would've gone with CF roof because it looks awesome on those colors. I hand wash my car and had Modesta applied as well. I won't let bird crap stay on the car for a minute without wiping it off. There you have it...

I'm perfectly happy with the car bone stock.
When it goes to the track, I know it will need track-appropriate brake pads.

170MPH takes balls. Downshifting to 4th gear at 140MPH may take even more balls. Dang you came close to a money shift son!
