Drivetrain malfunction

Hey everyone

My M4 is approaching 60k miles and just got the Drivetrain malfunction warning this week. Took it to my mechanic and did spark plugs and 2 solenoid valves P/N 11 36 8 605 123

Drove it for a day and the drivetrain malfunction warning comes back on. It will goes off when I restart the car and will come back on after driving for a while. Today it came on with the check engine light

Checked it with BimmerLink and got these errors
1B9804:engine shutdown time signal missed
CD8420 flexray bus communication error
131401 Vanos, exhaust, cold start not adjustable
120408 boost pressure control shutdown as follow up reaction
130304 Vanos, exhaust control error, camshaft is stuck

This sucks I was just talking about how reliable the M cars I’ve owned have been lol. Any help would be appreciated. I’ve searched drivetrain malfunction on here a it seems to be a bunch of mixed issues

Car is stock besides air intakes, taking it back to the shop Monday.

Thanks

Update

So last Monday my tech swapped the Vanos solenoids around and asked me to put some miles on the car. I drove it for a week no issues. Yesterday on my way home from work, just when I’m thinking the problem has been fixed “drivetrain malfunction”

I scanned it and found the same code 130304

Mechanic thinks I need a cam adjuster job which requires the engine to be opened up and quoted me around $2500 which isn’t a huge deal but I want to make sure it 100% fixes the issue.

Any suggestions? Should I just take advantage of this market and sell it? I would be looking at a small profit over what I bought it for in 2019. It is a DCT and I’ve put 15k miles on since I bought it with 45k. The previous owner must have beat it pretty good.

I don’t want to sell it but I don’t want to keep having issues with it. Thanks!

Probably 11-12 hours of labor plus the part. Sounds about right. If he swapped the solenoids and the code didn't move to the intake then he confirmed the cam adjuster is the issue.
