HK sound is oddly quiet

Hey guys, I just upgrade from a 2014 435i to a 2015 M4. Both cars have the HK system but in the M4, the sound is way quieter than it was in the 435i.

Ex. In the 435, I would only need to put volume to 1/4 full and it would be perfectly loud and full. In the M4 I have the volume half way up and it's just not there. I've played around with the settings and can't seem to figure it out.

Any suggestions?

There are no hardware differences in the HK from 2014 to 2015 - same speakers, amp, and OEM HU.

Most probably there is a difference in the firmware version in 2015.

I did more research and it appears to be an issue with Bluetooth in the M models. Radio is perfectly loud and after doing some testing, it does appear that only Bluetooth is insanely quiet. I updated my iDrive this morning as well and same thing.

I would assume that you have raised the volume in your phone while in Bluetooth, correct?
