Finally got one! Yas Marina F80 in Bunbury WA

Hi guys, long time stalker, first time owner.

Finally managed to get everything lined up to allow me to purchase my dream car. A YMB F80 M3, picked this beauty up from a great seller in Qld, bone stock, immaculate condition, low KM, FSH and BMW Service inclusive.

She should be arriving this week after coming across on the slowest transport known to man.

Will be a garage rival to my Wife's A45 AMG. Will get some mild cosmetic mods with some CF then some suspension and upgraded tyres as it will see the track in club events etc, as well as lots of spirited driving around the great roads not far from me.

Nice car! Awesome work getting what you wanted.

My advice if it's bone stock and a few years old would ask the dealer to do a full iStep update. It improved the car in every way for mine from suspension to steering and power delivery. A lot of software improvements went into these cars over the years.

depends on the service intervals. can always check with auto classic or similar by running the vin to see what needs to be done and whether its inclusive before bringing it by.

barring which quality shops such as

GMW
G Spec
Eurotechnik

should be able to help you out for a very reasonable price!

am located in wa too. happy to chat further.

there are a few clubs to join on facebook

///m club australia
m club perth
drivemasters

heaps of lovely helpful people there

Thanks mate, i was looking to go to Auto Classic being the closest whilst it's under the Service Inclusive, a gent from work has had good results with them, are they any good?

Have joined all 3 on FB, was hoping to do the recent AMGCP and M club Perth run to Caversham but the date doesn't work for us

Congrats! I had a A45 before my M3 Comp, lets just say they are completely different beasts! You might need to get some sticky tyres if you wanna get a good launch on the A45 though! Can't compare on the launch off the lights

+1 stickier tyres!
same, a45 to f80
A45 in anygear you can mash throttle and you'll be fine,
f80 mash it with no traction control, and your life depends on it.

Thanks guys!

Yeah the A45 is a little go kart and rockets out of corners. Plenty quick enough for the wife and a absolute hoot to drive.

Couple of rolling runs today and the M3 just sprints away

They'll charge usually. Worth a cheeky ask but should be around $200 and you'll only do it once as the software is probably no longer being developed further now the car is off sale new.

Good Work! Top tip - if you're not going to PPF the whole car, at least do the leading edge of the rear guards and back of the sills- stone chip city
