MPhas and tint are imminent...I’ve been holding out because if those two don’t ‘level us out’ I’m basically out of OEM moves...I kinda like holding it over his head though, as I gave him first dibs (dealer only had those two left on the lot)...forever the “better friend”. |

Yas Marina stays clean looking for at least a week, sometimes 2. By the time a month rolls around it looks pretty damn dirty.
Love the color b/c it's got a pearl to it when it's clean and in the sun, but 90% of the time it looks flat (even in the sun) and hides dirt relatively well in my opinion. |

I recently purchased a BSM F83. Anyone have any tips on avoiding water spots? I haven't did ceramic coating, may consider in the future. Everytime I was the car, there are always water spots regardless of how well I dry the car after washing.

When you rinse the car down, take the nozzle attachment off the hose. That way, water will flow off the car in sheets, rather than bead. It should make drying much easier. Also, if you have one, use an electric leaf blower to dry the harder to reach bits - vents, wheels, etc.

The "pain" of BSM is so worth it though. I've mostly owned black cars, sometimes it's boring but this is the first car I've had PPF on and it makes a huge difference.
Under the right light and when it's clean, it looks incredible.

I don't think BMW has a bad color. I didn't initially want BSM. In fact I was trying to avoid it because of the headaches with keeping it clean and I've had lots of black cars, plenty of fun colors to choose from. Not a fan of the murdered out look on this car. Been there. I do rly liked the contrast of the carbon pieces on lighter cars.
The only thing I compromised on was the color and I have been very happy with its aesthetics. I got every option I wanted and the car was ceramic coated, and PPF on the entire front end as well as high wear areas around the car. So much less to stress about as I do drive it plenty. Like others have said it cleans up beautifully. I like that it adds a bit of stealth to the experience. Even in black it attracts to much attention IMO. Don't overthink it like I did. Haha. Good luck and enjoy it!!! |

I’ve had a white E92 and a black 911TT.
I hated the black. I loved the white. It’s a challenge for me shopping for an F80 at the moment because so many of them are black… |

My M4 and X3 are both BSM.
It gets dirty almost instantly and shows paint swirls so bad. But I still love it. Looks so amazing after a wash. I have no regrets. Maybe I'm a masochist. |

My favorite color for F82 is BSM, F80 I like Atlantis Blue
Black isn’t bad if you wash with a truly touchless wash with good products. PPF and ceramic pro makes life way easier.

Get the paint corrected and then get it ceramic coated. Life is good with any colored car after that.

I have PPF, ceramic coat and use a quality sealant and touchless wash method at much as possible. It's a daily though so when it starts looking a bit scratched I'll go back to the detailer…pretty happy most of the time with BSM though.

Ceramic coating is gonna solve your worries with BSM, there is even Feynlab self healing coating.
I'll put some random video, so you can see how it works. Btw when you're buying a car, buy the color you enjoy the most.
