HELP I need a Seat Adapter - Outer Left 52108075097~GOF

BIMMERPOST

Hola:

I have the European GTS seats in my car (GTS of course). The outer left bracket broke and the ETA ex Germany is December 2021. Would anyone have a outer left or set that they would sell?

Trying to get back on the track. If I cannot source a bracket I will end up making one, this time out of steel.

Thanks in advance.

Is it not concerning that the bracket broke?

Seat bracket failure

Yes it is very concerning. A bent aluminum piece should not fail. The BMW OE part was quoted at $900 and not available until December.

The pieces were installed by a highly trusted mechanic at a BMW dealer so I am confident it was done correctly.

If it fails again I will reproduce it in steel, no more failures.

I have had mine in the car for nearly two years and many track miles with no issues. I did the install myself.

Do you have a picture of the failures?
Or can you describe the area of the issue?

I installed mine myself. It's a pretty straightforward task. That sucks to hear yours failed. Mind sharing photos of the failure point?

Euro seat bracket

It broke at the rear left driver attachment. Reinforced front to rear with welded 1/2" al plate and reinstalled. Like new. New brackets were not available until December and were ~$1200.
