Windsheild replacement
In an odd situation here. So I have a small crack on windsheild, have been told by multiple people that it cannot be filled, and I am under my parents insurance plan but pay my own insurance. That being said in Kentucky you get 1 free windsheild a year through insurance and do not have to pay a deductible and will not raise your rate. My parents are not letting me use insurance to replace because they don’t want a claim on the policy. At bmw one guy said he thinks it’ll be about 3400 out the door to replace. And feedback/advice on how I should go about this? Maybe use a third party for a cheaper price to repair it?

Here’s what I posted a few years ago when I was looking to have my windshield replaced.
