Unless you OWN a body shop with a frame rack I'd say to stay away from that car. You'd spend a fortune just TRYING to get it right. Probably multiple pulls and multiple dissasembly reassembly attempts.
If you can get it for under $10K (and you have $10K to GAMBLE) then MAYBE I'd pull out all the good parts and sell them outright. Do this 5 or 6 times and then you can afford a new M car...BUT...how many people with an M2/3/4 are looking to buy a used Motor, Trans, Diff or Interior? There's been a post on here for a while with a S55 motor for sale at $10K that's been bumped and repriced. That's why I'd say your plan is a gamble, and likely a bad bet. Sorry man, just my two cents, -TJ Last edited by TopJimmy; 04-02-2020 at 10:35 PM.. |

Engine and trans might be hard to sell but the 20” comp rims/tires and the red interior bits and seats may sell easier for thousands of dollars - maybe $5k for just those items conservatively?

So the car auctioned off at $20000 and I decided to pass. Thank you guys for all your opinions. I really appreciate the help a lot. I guess I will just look for a clean title F80 instead
