I agreed to trade in my very buttoned down 6 MT M3 ZCP for the M4 CS based on that the MP HAS was available for it. All the research that we did here and with BMW indicated it would be no problem. So I order it (it would've more expensive to swap it from my M3) and it took 4-6 weeks to get approved, which surprised both I and my dealer parts/service staff. So we got it in the car corner balanced it and everything was cool until about a month ago. My dealer calls me out of the blue and says it has to come out because they made a mistake and it isn't approved for the M4 CS (unsure of the M3 CS).

They offered a free MPE with CF tips or a one day M School, which actually wasn't a bad offer. But, I already have two M-Schools lined and an exhaust that I like. I would just sell the other one, but that can be a pain in the ass up and I told them (BMWNA) via about 10 conversations that I bought (leased) the car based on the fact the MP HAS was available for this car. I said I don't want it anymore and asked to them to buy it back or trade assist me out of it. Of course BMWNA refused saying that was for only mechanical defects etc of which argued they were saying this was a safety risk/mechanical defect. They of course didn't see it that way.

So any way I'm bringing it back tonight to get the MP HAS removed and put back to stock, which really sucks because this car is awesome with it.

My dealer contact said he is going to push for Advanced M School, which would be pretty cool. So we will see.

I also did the UDE VIP event last week. I actually like the X4M more than the X3M. The biggest take away from this though is, to make it feel closer to our Macan S, I have to shove all the settings to Sport+ to make it come CLOSE to our Macan S. Though the X3M and X4M can put more stuff in the trunk, our Macan S's only major downfall is that problem, the trunk space is smaller in comparison. That and the PCM suck. I will never get over it that. Also, their 3.0 V6 is a giant gas hog lol

I only starting to appreciate just how well Porsche handling characteristics are. It's just too bad their infotainment still blow chunks compared to BMW, in this regard their infotainment is not even close.

That is definitely a first world problem. My guess is, it does work fine but BMW didn't specifically make it for the CS so they said no out of precaution. I do find it a bit funny though lol. Honestly you could have bought it on your own, installed it somewhere else and no one would have been the wiser lol.

I'm assuming you put the KW Clubsport on the CS. Don't quote me though.

Even though it is a first world issue I do not find it funny. I'm not over the yop mad, but I am pissed that I bought the M4 CS based on the fact I could put the MP HAS on it. Aside from being a pain in the ass (dealer is 40-45 miles away from me), I like my CS or any M3/4 for that matter with the MP HAS in it.

No KW or any aftermarket, the reason I paid more for BMWs was because it was OEM and supported by the warranty etc.

Very glad to hear your friend is ok. I have friend/coworker that is going in next for his second colon cancer surgery/treatment. I feel terrible for him and his family.

Well, KW Clubsport is on the M4 GTS so i won't be too surprised at all if the M3 or M4 CS can runs Clubsport suspension officially. I just never actually asked to be honest. Ever since I started running the KW DDC I never gone back to just changing the springs.

No, the C word has to do a lot with my private life and it is private so we like to keep it that way. It is currently fine, everything is okay and again no it isn't me.

Also was at a wedding reception yesterday for a friend I gotten pretty close to since I met him through Bimmerpost at City Club LA yesterday. It also just happens to be that Westworld (yes the HBO show) was filming at that location so, it was completely cool to have to tell the police to let us through the barricade for the wedding. That is such a good story to say later haha.

Being a Republican doesn't mean you sell your soul to someone like him. A lot of people aren't using their brain. Just like identifying with Democrats doesn't mean you have to agree with them or how they keep pushing taxes. Our gas in LA currents sits at $4 to $5 per gallon for 91. It's the highest in all of US easily and I find it just ANNOYING AS HELL.

What annoys me further is they actually Trump did something to help the economy. He did... NOTHING. He inherited the US when it was already recovering towards the end of Obama. He has such a huge ego he actually think he did something, which is hilarious in itself.

Too many people in the States cannot see two feet in front of them or have such short term memory. The mayor of LA is cool though, met him with my father :P

I really can't complain as life is busy, but very good. I'm full in the hockey/helping coach my daughters team mode for the next five months. I wiped out pretty good at practice the other night trying to demonstrate a drill and thought I broke my collarbone, but thankfully I just bruised/strained some stuff. We have a really good team and great bunch of girls this year that try really hard so all of us parents/coaches and players are very excited for the season.

Other than Kira (the GS) is nuts, but fun and healthy. She still wants to try and eat one of the cats, but it's getting better the older she gets.
