2020 M4 Vert

I have a 2015 F83 and was thinking about getting a new 2020. I really like the hard-top convertible and don't want the soft top like the new G series seems like it will have.

That being said... hypothetically if the MSRP is 90,300.. what should a dealer be able to come down to? My first go-round they offered 5,000 off which is roughly 5.5%. I countered with 10% off. They came back with another 1,000 which puts it at roughly 6.6% off of sticker.

What's the consensus on if that's a good deal or not?

I know getting the 0.9% financing this month does add to the appeal.

Thats terrible !!!

You need to shoot for minimum 12% off pre incentives.

People are getting 13-14% off before incentives and unicorn deals 15%

Good Luck!

Update:

I asked the sales manager about the 1500 BMW loyalty and he said he had already factored that in. So, they are actually coming down even less off of the sticker.

Thanks BMW Lunatic for the information.

I bet that sales manager assumes that since the weather is nice, he can get higher premium for a convertible and is not willing to deal. I should've started looking in December.

EOP is August 2020, with the factories just coming back online after being closed for over a month, finding a build allocation might be difficult.

I understand the the dealership needs to make money, as my standing pricing is $1,000 below invoice with incentives.

It took almost 4 weeks for me to secure a F83 ZCP build for a September 2020 PCD, this is from a Group A center.

The 12% to 15% off of MRSP is for vehicle's collecting dust on lots--highly doubt its for a P1 vehicle.

You can always try a lease brooker.

Thanks Ibiza..

I would've taken the deal at my offered 10% off. And honestly we're only about 3,500 different, but it's become the principle of it now.

According to Carguru - the car has been on the lot for a while. Also, by researching the VIN, it has a 6/19 build.

So I think my 10% offer is more than fair.

If the vehicle is on the lot, than I agree with 12%. I was under the assumption you were ordering.

What are the options?

With the drop in vehicle units sold, dealerships instead of chasing sales volume and selling vehicles at a "loss" in the past, are trying to maximize the profit for each unit sold now🤷🏻*♂️
