I think before the tips are getting stolen it is much easier to get off the CF side mirror cover if some has them ... they are easily removed in some seconds ^^

I have the same system on the convertible, and I find that the in-cabin noise due to ASD seems very video-game(ish). Had it coded to inactive and now I am loving the sound of the exhaust a whole lot more. Seems more natural to my trained hearing.
I found that the in-cabin drone sound is now gone, and I would say overall noise is 30% less at least. Even after installation you should check that the tips are properly tightened and logo straight. The tips can move in at least another 5-10mm, but you lose visibility of the M logo. Turner Motorsports ordered and installed my setup. They used the default clamps that came with system. I've been thinking of taking it to another shop to get the joints welded instead. |
