Btw this is a fun thread but if you're actually shopping insurance companies/quotes, use a broker. No one else's rates will compare to yours.

Insurance underwriters will look at your age, zip code, driving record, # of cars on policy, household members, their ages and records and driving records, car make model age value number of doors miles driven, # of accidents, deductible, claim limits and a whole bunch of other things when determining your rate. There's no way yours will be comparable to anyone on here's...

Middle of Canada - I think it's slightly less to pay in full so it was $1605 for the year. $200 deductible, 1 mil liability and all the add ons and with increased value as our base insurance only covers cars up to $50k. That's with a pretty high discount of 25% off for a good driving record.

A bit late to the party but I pay £596 which includes business use for both me and my fiancée. 12k miles a year. It does include a voluntary excess of £300 on top of the standard £500 excess.

Paying $125 monthly, extensive coverage by Geico on my M3 ZCP. Paid close to $190 to insure my 335is, same coverage, go figure. No Tix, perfect driving record.

No tickets in over 8 years, same for accidents (so none for insurance purposes), paying $152/mo in Orange County with multi-vehicle (motorcycles), and homeowner's, through Progressive. Mid-30's, single, outdated defensive driving course, estimated 5k miles/year, 1k deductible.

Thought it might jump more since I paid $50/mo on my '08 335i liability-only a couple months prior, but some of you guys are getting away with murder...

My insurance went from $975 every 6 months (Allstate) for my 2011 C63 AMG to around $1300 for my 2015 M4. I raised my deductibles to $1000 and tweaked a few other things like medical expenses and it dropped me down to $1075.

I got quotes from several different companies and only Progressive was lower (but not by much). Geico was the worst with something like $450/mo.
