"Preconditioning Failed" - BMW Remote app problem
It's hot lately, so I've been trying to use the preconditioning feature in the iOS app to start the ventilation.
I can get it to work if I do the "Activate now" button, but I can't get the timer feature to work. It either can't connect to the server, or it gets to the "sending to vehicle" step but ultimately fails. Is this just broken and am I wasting my time with the timer?

I can set the timer inside the car and that works.

the app is pure garbage. Everyone has complaints about some sort of feature. Personally I can hardly get anything but the 'location' thing to work. I got the horn to honk once but i was standing basically 10ft from my car.
Probably just as bad as the bimmerpost app :P |
