random play

I have over 2200 songs on my internal hard drive (all metal - from Crue to Deicide and everything in between

). With that many songs, I always keep it on random play. Is there no way to skip to the next random song on the steering wheel controls? I don't think so, but am hoping there is a secret I don't know.

I'm not sure what you mean by "the scroll wheel on the steering wheel always follows the random setting", but I if move the wheel while in random mode, the song list appears in my HUD with the songs in alphabetical order. I just want the system to randomly picking the next song if possible. Not a big deal, I just currently use the joystick.
