BMW Connected APP

Hey guys,

does anyone have this App?

I'm wondering why I don't get shown the stats of my car?
Everything works fine except the stats.

I was sitting in a car of a friend, M240i, and connected to his car. I was shown his stats. Now I can't get it why it doesn't work for my car?

Any suggestions?

Do you have an active connected+ subscription? It shows up fine on my app.

I have subscription and the App doesn't work well for me at all. BMW aren't much help either. Actually they are completely useless in providing any help on it.

Android or iOS? I had an issue with it when they made their change to the TOS and had to use an iPhone to accept it before things worked again. They're Apple whores really.

MY/iDrive gen makes a difference. My 2016 M4 shows less info than my wife's 2018 M3. Also varies between models

Think it is only MY17 and above.

Works fine on my 2016 F82. A new App was released last year with more features. In the menu you need to select your car and see your VIN in order to get all the information. The phone must be connected to the USB port

So the 2016 (I have 2015) M4 connected App works only when connected to the USB. Remote services is okay unplugged but Fuel Level and Mileage and Range only update with the Phone plugged in?

PS Does yours ever show more than 14 or 15 gal Fuel Level?

Exactly, it works only when the cable is plugged. I didn't notice about the level of the tank, I will check it at my next full refuel. When the cable is unplugged, few minutes later when I arrive home, I have a notification from the app giving me my last trip stats (km, fuel) and the position of the car. A nice feature I like when the cable is plugged is to be able to sync my calendar, also you can get access to the Spotfy menu and control it from the Idrive

That's it guys. I never connected my phone. But it's interesting that it's no need if you have a newer build. The M240 i I was sitting in gave this information OTA.
