What I said... You can change some details like response etc. but not the max HP. Well, the car is more driveable, fast as before but people still complain.

Happy Monday 😀

First HP change was the ZCP.
Talking torque and yes it did change. But nobody returned their car over it

Edit - there are plenty of threads on this. The car did not get slower - but became more driveable. Those that have experienced the change say it is very noticeable in day to day driving.
I'm one of those people. Had a 16 M4 and now an 18 ZCP.

The car definitely feels more drive-able. Can't say one felt faster than the other, but from a complete stop you won't be fishtailing anymore like before.

The fishtailing is what I miss the most though. I'm sorry, I thought i bought an M car with some soul! Give me all the fishtails and spinning tires.

In all seriousness, even moderate throttle and TC turned off would get her loose from a complete stop. That, paired with the suspect DCT response in low gears (you have to floor the throttle, they said) and it was a helluva car even under 30 MPH and the low end.

All my passengers hated it. But to me it was just a reminder it's a true M car.

After flashing all adaption data are deleted so that could be your issue. Just give it some time.

Happy Monday
BMW actually did change the shape of the power and torque profiles with later software tunes. When the M3/4 were originally released, the torque was rated at 405lb-ft from 1850 to 5500rpm. They are now rated at 405lb-ft from 2350 to 5500rpm, meaning the maximum torque only comes in 500rpm later. While this will not make a difference in all out maximum acceleration, it will make the car slower and less responsive (more sluggish) in normal daily driving. It's not only a question of throttle response, the engine actually makes less power in the lower RPM.

I however don’t believe that is what the OP is experiencing though, as the CP tune has always had the low RPM torque reduction from the get to.

MFurther, as another tidbit, the M3/4 "base" power rating in Europe has also been recently revised from 431hpDIN@5500-7300rpm to 431hpDIN@5500-6500rpm likely because of the incorporation of the GPF, an 800rpm loss in power plateau.

Happy Monday to you too

I can attest this guy's statement. These are the exact things my 2015 did. I took delivery of mine on 6/25/2014.

Agreed, but people complained constantly about how difficult it was to launch, too much power to the rear wheels, too much tire spin in low gears, etc.

So BMW fixed that issue lol and now owners want it back

Also, there were many idiot owners that would gun it with TC off from a dead stop and crash.

nah. I for one don't want those "features" back. Very happy with my current 18' ZCP's drivability.
